Inesa Lin

Coach

Inesa first stepped on the ice while she was only 4 years old. Instantly she fell in love with the ice and her passion for figure skating grew into a successful career. She is the Lithuanian National Champion, an international competitor and winner. Now by focusing her passion to coaching she has been very successful in coaching competitive figure skaters of all ages and levels. Inesa’s 25 years of combined knowledge and practical experience allows her to provide every skater with the opportunity to maximize their skating potential, improve technique, and understand of competitive figure skating. Inesa is very passionate about figure skating and that shows in her classes. They are fun, informative, and productive. Inesa is a member of the Professional Skaters Association (PSA) and U.S. Figure Skating (USFS). PSA rated coach.

Yahaira Torres

Coach

Coach Yahaira works with beginners as well as advanced skaters. She enjoys teaching the technique and basics of figure skating and integrating safety and fun into her training. Yahaira’s on ice and off ice training promotes physical fitness for skaters to reach their full potential on ice. Coach Yahaira has experience in coaching Moves in the Field, Ice Dancing, and preparing skaters for solo as well as synchronized skating competitions. She earned a Gold Medal at the US Synchronized Skating Championships and is a 2-time Gold Medalist, 1-time Silver Medalist and 1-time Bronze Medalist at the Midwestern Synchronized Skating Sectional Championships. Yahaira has 13 years skating experience, 9 years synchronized ice skating experience and 5 years’ experience as an ice skating coach. She is a certified figure skating coach of the Professional Skaters Association (PSA). Coach Yahaira is also continuing her education at Lewis University where she is working towards her bachelor’s degree in Nursing.

Aidas Buzelis

Massage Therapist

Licensed Massage Therapist Aidas Buzelis was born in Lithuania and while living in Europe, he played professional basketball, representing several Lithuanian and European teams.  Aidas earned a Bachelor degree in Sport Coaching in1996 from the Lithuanian Institute of Physical Culture and his certification in Massage Therapy from Onnuri Institute in 1998.
Since moving to the USA in 2000, Aidas has been a member of the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals as well as being certified by the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. He is licensed as an Illinois state massage therapist. Due to his sports background, he specializes in deep tissue and sports massage.  He has additional certifications in Be Activated, Primal Reflex Release Technique (PRRT) and Total Motion Release (TMR).  Aidas is one of a select few massage therapists in the country who are certified to perform these rehabilitation techniques.
He practiced with United States physical therapists and Chiropractors in Chicago and San Diego in 2008. Since 2008 he works  with Lithuanian National Basketball team as the official member of massage therapists’ core. He was also official member of National team for 2012 London Olympics and 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics.

 

Aidas Buzelis

Massage Therapist

Licensed Massage Therapist Aidas Buzelis was born in Lithuania and while living in Europe, he played professional basketball, representing several Lithuanian and European teams.  Aidas earned a Bachelor degree in Sport Coaching in1996 from the Lithuanian Institute of Physical Culture and his certification in Massage Therapy from Onnuri Institute in 1998.

Luke Russell

Luke Russell is International senior level competitive ice dancer from Great Britain. He has skated since he was 5 years old and has focused on ice dance since he was 16.
He moved to the states at the age of 21 in order to fully dedicate himself to ice dance. His training has taken him to international competitions all over the Europe and America. While training he has learnt from many great coaching around the world specializing in fields both in the ice and off the ice. In coming to the States Luke’s understanding of the sport has greatly improved and he’s eager to share what he’s learnt with others.

Luke Russell

Luke Russell is International senior level competitive ice dancer from Great Britain. He has skated since he was 5 years old and has focused on ice dance since he was 16.

Jake Fearnley

Coach

Jake Fearnley is an Ice Dance Coach and International competitor with his current partner. He is originally from Great Britain and moved to the US to pursue his skating career. Jake is also a British National Champion and has represented Great Britain internationally over the past 5 years. He specializes in ice dance and moves in the field with emphasis on the use of proper technique, posture and power. Jake enjoys working with skaters of all levels and ages.

Jake Fearnley

Coach

Jake Fearnley is an Ice Dance Coach and International competitor with his current partner. He is originally from Great Britain and moved to the US to pursue his skating career. Jake is also a British National Champion and has represented Great Britain internationally over the past 5 years. He specializes in ice dance and moves in the field with emphasis on the use of proper technique, posture and power. Jake enjoys working with skaters of all levels and ages.

Helen Schorse

Coach

Helen Schorse is a freestyle and ice dance coach. She is also an international competitor for Great Britain with her current partner. Together they have competed at the junior level and will be representing Great Britain at the Senior level. Helen is also a triple gold medalist in, Freestyle, Ice Dance and Moves in the Field. She originally moved to this area to pursue a pairs skating career and has had experience in that discipline as well. She specializes in freestyle, ice dance and moves in the field and enjoys working with skaters of different levels and ages.

Helen Schorse

Coach

Helen Schorse is a freestyle and ice dance coach. She is also an international competitor for Great Britain with her current partner. Together they have competed at the junior level and will be representing Great Britain at the Senior level. Helen is also a triple gold medalist in, Freestyle, Ice Dance and Moves in the Field. Brittney Alvarez

Coach

Brittney fell in love with the ice the first time she stepped on! She has been skating for the past 14 years and competed for 12 years including 5 ISI World Recreational Team Championships. She has been coaching recreational and competitive students for the past 3 years. She focuses on making her students have the best possible outcome on the ice! Coach Brittney specializes in coaching freestyle and moves in the field. Brittney is a member of the Professional Skaters Association (PSA).

Brittney Alvarez

Brittney fell in love with the ice the first time she stepped on! She has been skating for the past 14 years and competed for 12 years including 5 ISI World Recreational Team Championships. She has been coaching recreational and competitive students for the past 3 years. She focuses on making her students have the best possible outcome on the ice! Coach Brittney specializes in coaching freestyle and moves in the field. Brittney is a member of the Professional Skaters Association (PSA).
